Dal 15 al 19 aprile 2000 la Fondazione Studio Marangoni ha ospitato un seminario tenuto dal fotografo inglese Daniel Meadows, ispirato alla mostra NATIONAL PORTRAITS - NOW & THEN esposta nella galleria della Fondazione. La mostra era composta da una serie di 14 coppie di ritratti che mostrano le stesse persone fotografate a 25 anni di distanza: i ritratti "Then" erano stati scattati nel 1974 e i ritratti "Now" scattati invece recentemente. Gli studenti dovevano domandare a uno sconosciuto di collaborare alla preparazione di una pagina web su se stessi sulla falsariga del progetto di Daniel. Il soggetto di ogni pagina web doveva procurare una fotografia del passato ("then") e il fotografo doveva scattare una fotografia ("now"). il fotografo doveva anche intervistare il soggetto sulle differenze fra le due fotografie e raccontare una storia su quella differenza.
Between 15th and 19th April 2000 Foundation Studio Marangoni hosted a workshop by English photographer Daniel Meadows based on his exhibition NATIONAL PORTRAITS - NOW & THEN which, at that time, was showing in the Foundation's gallery. The exhibition was made up of a series of 14 pairs of portraits showing the same people photographed twenty-five years apart, the "Then" portraits being shot in 1974 and the "Now" portraits being shot recently. Students on the workshop were invited to ask a stranger to collaborate in the making of a web page based on Daniel's project. The subject of each web page had to provide a "then" picture of themselves and the photographer had to shoot a "now" picture. The photographer would also have to interview the subject about the difference between the two photographs and to tell a story about that difference.Ecco gli studenti e le storie che hanno raccontato.
